| Hello there and allow me to personally welcome you to The Mystic Moon Garden! So you want to learn a little bit more about me? Well, let's see... I started my spiritual journey in 2001 when a friend of mine suggested joining her in meditation class. I was suffering from postpartum depression at the time and she thought it would help. Help was an understatement! My meditation teacher was also a Reiki Master so I decided to try that too. My first session released so much built up negative energy that I soon returned for more. Within the year I had taken and received my Reiki Level 1 and was bumped into the Advanced Meditation/Spirituality class. I received my Reiki Level 2 in August of 2004 and my Master in November of 2005. It has been a marvelous journey and there is no end in sight =) I have also completed Aromatherapy, Herbalism and Colour Therapy courses. When I finished my Aromatherapy course I started dabbling in the blending of different essential oils and discovered I had quite the knack for it! Lo & Behold the bath salts were born! I personally don't like the greasy feel of bath oil so I decided to make healing baths with salts instead. All the benefits of the essential oils but no tub ring! Plus salt naturally draws the negative energy out of the body. Something we could all use on days we are feeling emotionally drained. I am currently working on Tub Teas now using various healing herbs... Keep an eye out for those! My interest in jewellery making took on a life of it's own really. I specialize in using crystals with my hands on Reiki and went a step further by making jewellery so that the healing benefits could be felt continuously. I originally just made my own but soon I was making them for friends and family with great results =) I charge the jewellery and the bath salts with Reiki for 5 minutes before shipping them out. So there you have it! My life so far in a web page! Outside of these virtual walls I also enjoy music, writing, cooking, online gaming (Pogo) and traveling. I aspire to see the British Isles, Italy, Hungary and the magical place of Sedona, Arizona before I am done. Hawaii would be something to see too. I love reading and studying... The ultimate quest for truth! My most important and rewarding job though is being a mom to my three amazing children (two boys and a girl) and wife to my wonderful husband and teenage sweetheart, Jon. I would say I am truly blessed and thankful every day for what I have and am able to offer. I am honored that you have visited my site and you have taken an interest in learning more about me!
